Thank you for considering supporting the Education Futures Collaboration (EFC) charity and the MESHGuide research summaries.\u00a0<\/p>

Your support is invaluable. The EFC charity is managed voluntarily by teachers and teacher educators who have a commitment to gather and share freely research-based knowledge relevant to teaching. \u00a0<\/p>

There are several different ways you can give to the charity. See the information\u00a0below.\u00a0<\/p>

How are funds used? \u00a0<\/p>

Authors of the MESHGuides research summaries may give their time voluntarily, may be supported by their employer or are supported with funds raised through donations or research funding. Funds may be used to commission researchers and teachers to work together to write MESHGuides as well as for website and administrative costs. Specialist groups are supported in bidding for funds. For example, the Guides for teaching deaf and hearing-impaired children were paid for by the UK Big lottery. The Guide on the teaching of Spelling in English was paid for by an individual donor. Various university research units and charities have used their own resources to fund guides reporting their research. VSO paid for the Numeracy Guides. The Early Years Guides were produced through a collaboration between EFC volunteers and VSO and so on.\u00a0<\/p>
