Subject Associations

NALDIC is the national organisation for EAL. It is a community of academics and practitioners which acts as the voice for EAL in the UK. Membership includes a termly journal with practical research-informed ideas for the classroom and membership-only access to many resources on the NALDIC website. Anyone is welcome at a NALDIC Regional Interest Group; termly meetings for teachers and anyone else interested in EAL. You don’t have to be a NALDIC member to attend. Contact enquiries@naldic.org.uk to find out if there is one in your area or to enquire about starting one up yourself.

SATEAL - the subject association for EAL in Scotland, exists to foster and develop the teaching of English as an Additional Language (EAL) in a multi ethnic environment through our conference and website.
