Audiology in education - DRCongo

He considers the gaps in implementation of special needs education as well as the social stigma and the fact that there are only two trained audiologists serving a population of about 85 million.

Audiology in Ghana
Article outlining a lecture exchange with the audiology department at the University of Ghana in Accra.  The paediatric audiology lectures drew great interest from the audience in including teachers of the deaf, speech and language therapists and audiologists. Of particular importance was the notion of access to early intervention in their area which garnered significant discussion. After this time Daniel Fobi from University of Winneba has traveled to the University of Leeds where he is working on his PhD in a deaf education related topic. He is also working with other researchers at University of Leeds on a grant which focuses on development of an early intervention strategy in Ghana.
